Standing Rules of the Villages RoVers Chapter

1. The annual membership fees shall be ($25) payable on October 1st each membership year per rig (membership & fiscal year is 10/1 to 9/30.
2. New members joining after (July 31st) shall be considered as paid in full for the next membership year
3. The Treasurer shall collect membership dues and report active members to the Secretary in order to maintain an accurate membership roster
4. Officers shall be elected at the annual business meeting
5. Duties of officers shall be defined in the Chapter Member and Volunteer Handbook
6. Business meetings shall be conducted once per year at a minimum or as required to conduct necessary club business
7. Chapter membership shall be limited to (150) rigs.  The club shall maintain a waiting list for other RV owners wishing to join the club.  The Secretary shall maintain the membership list and invite Individuals from the wait list to join as openings occur
8. Rally fees shall be set by the membership.  Upon cancellation, members shall receive a full refund if cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to the rally.  If cancellation occurs within 30 days prior to the event, a refund will only be offered if another member can fill the opening
9. Pre-registrations for planned rallies will not be permitted with the exception of the rally organizer.  Rallies once organized and ready for registrations will be published to all members simultaneously.  Signups will be then taken first come first served basis until the limit is reached.  Names will then be placed on a wait list in the order received.
10. Club name badges must be worn at all official club events.
11. Smoking is not allowed at any official club meeting whether in a Villages location or elsewhere.
12. At a rally event, generators may not be used during quiet hours from 11 pm to 6 am.
13. Rallies will be planned so that pets will be allowed at the campground.
14. Members that wish to bring guests to a rally event may do so providing they pay any additional fees required by the campground and the club.
15. Members who no longer own a motor home but wish to continue membership in the club may do so but may not hold office or vote in any election
